LittenProxy

Welcome

Everything you need to use LittenProxy — residential and datacenter proxies on one network, billed by the gigabyte. Below is the full REST API and how to connect to the proxy.

Base URL

base
https://littencaptcha.com/api/v1

Every endpoint below is relative to this base. All requests and responses are JSON over HTTPS. The unversioned /api prefix still works as a deprecated alias.

Authentication

Two methods are supported. For scripts and servers, use an access token as a Bearer header. The dashboard itself uses a signed session cookie set by /login.

Access tokens (recommended)

Create a token in the dashboard under Settings → API access tokens. The full token is shown once; only its SHA-256 is stored. Send it on every request:

header
Authorization: Bearer lp_live_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Treat tokens like passwords. A token has full access to its account. Revoke it any time — revocation is immediate.

Session cookie

Calling POST /login returns a Secure; HttpOnly; SameSite=Lax cookie named mesh_session, valid for 7 days. Browsers send it automatically.

Errors

Errors use standard HTTP status codes and a JSON body with a single error field.

example
{ "error": "Invalid email or password" }
StatusMeaning
400Bad request — missing or invalid parameters
401Not authenticated, or invalid credentials / token
404Resource not found
429Rate limited — slow down and retry
500Server error

Rate limits

Authentication endpoints are rate limited per IP. Exceeding the limit returns 429.

EndpointLimit
POST /login10 requests / minute
POST /signup5 requests / 5 minutes

]

Add balance

POST/topupAuth required

Adds prepaid GB to your balance and records an invoice. Returns the new balance in bytes.

FieldTypeDescription
gbnumberGB to add (0 < gb ≤ 100000)required
curl
curl -X POST https://littencaptcha.com/api/v1/topup \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LP_TOKEN" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"gb":5}'
200 response
{ "balance_bytes": 8000000000 }

Rotate proxy password

POST/rotate-passwordAuth required

Generates a new proxy password and returns it. Your account login is unaffected. The old proxy password stops working immediately.

200 response
{ "password": "b695b157e5719e6e902f2b52" }

Using the proxy

Your proxy username is the code from username, and the password is proxyPassword (both from GET /me). One endpoint serves both HTTP CONNECT and SOCKS5.

FieldValue
hostgw.littencaptcha.com
port8080
formathost:port:username:password
curl — HTTP
curl -x "http://601d7f1d05cb8953aefe:b695b157e5719e6e902f2b52@gw.littencaptcha.com:8080" \
  https://api.ipify.org
curl — SOCKS5
curl -x "socks5h://601d7f1d05cb8953aefe:b695b157e5719e6e902f2b52@gw.littencaptcha.com:8080" \
  https://api.ipify.org
Traffic is metered per byte against your prepaid balance. When the balance reaches zero, new requests are refused.

List access tokens

GET/keysAuth required

Lists your active tokens. The full token value is never returned — only a masked prefix.

200 response

    "lastUsed": "2026-10-03"

POST/keysAuth required

Creates a token and returns its full value once. Store it now — it cannot be retrieved later. Max 20 active tokens per account.

  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LP_TOKEN" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \

  "prefix": "lp_live_25fe4702…"
}
